Something went wrong with the black resin layer on this one! It did not cover evenly, leading to a couple bare spots as well as gloppy, thick splotches. These have mostly been carved out by the dremel. Outwardly, this base looks perfectly normal. On the inside, it's just a bit unsightly now, but perfectly usable as the main thickened areas have been removed. The amount of resin is no different than a normal base so it is not overly thick or heavy. It is structurally sound and ready for any project.
